Detailed explanation
- Spot hesitation. Signals such as exit intent, idle time or repeat visits show a shopper may leave with items in the cart.
- Help in the moment. The AI answers questions about shipping, sizing, stock or returns and can present an offer you have approved.
- Check permission. Before any follow-up, consent, unsubscribes, suppression and frequency rules are applied.
- Follow up. A recovery email, or a journey with web push, SMS or WhatsApp, reminds the shopper of their cart in your brand voice.
- Measure. Orders that follow are reported, and a suitable controlled comparison can help estimate a directional difference; attribution alone does not prove extra orders.
Why this matters
Many abandoned carts are the result of one unanswered question. Answering it before the shopper leaves, and following up with something relevant, can help a shopper finish a purchase. Test whether that produces more completed orders than your existing approach; relevance alone does not prove additional sales.
