What it does

The Zubby plugin connects one WooCommerce store to your Zubby workspace. It sends your catalog and store content to Zubby, keeps it current as products, stock and orders change, and adds the chat widget to your storefront. It runs on WordPress 6.4 or later, WooCommerce 8.0 or later and PHP 8.2 or later.

Ask about connected store metrics over 7, 30 or 90 days. Merchant requests have separate daily plan caps and do not consume shopper conversation credits. Review campaign plans before approval and activate drafts separately.

Chat on your storefront

The plugin adds the Zubby chat widget, styled in the Zubby widget designer.

Recommendations in your theme

A block and shortcode show product recommendations on product, cart, home, checkout and thank-you pages.

How to get started

  1. Install the plugin

    Download the Zubby plugin from your dashboard, upload it to WordPress and activate it.

  2. Pair your store

    Connect the plugin to your Zubby account and let the first catalog sync finish.

  3. Test and launch

    Open your store, ask the questions your customers ask most, then turn the chat on for everyone.

Good to know

  • Requires WordPress 6.4 or later, WooCommerce 8.0 or later and PHP 8.2 or later.
  • This is a managed SaaS connection: the plugin sends supported data to Zubby and the hosted assistant depends on the service, worker and connected providers. It is not a self-hosted or bring-your-own-key replacement. Compare service costs, data scope and operational ownership before choosing.
  • Try it on a staging copy first if your store uses heavy caching or security plugins.
  • Cancel, order-edit, and refund requests become high-priority tickets on WooCommerce even when enabled. Verified shipping-address changes can write through the plugin after explicit confirmation; that switch is on by default.
  • The holdout can suppress the assistant and count visitors, but the current order-linked conversion lift calculation is Shopify-specific.

Where do I get the plugin?

From your Zubby dashboard after you create an account and choose WooCommerce as your platform. Updates are delivered to your WordPress admin like any other plugin.

Will it work with my theme?

The chat widget loads on top of your theme and works with most WooCommerce themes. Test on a staging copy first if you use custom checkout plugins or aggressive caching.

Can the agent apply coupons?

Approved offers use coupons you set up in WooCommerce, and loyalty rewards can create an automatic WooCommerce coupon. The margin guard checks known product costs. When costs are missing, an offer cap limits the discount but cannot guarantee profitability; add costs or block offers for those products.

Which plan do I need?

WooCommerce supports the paid plans. Growth is $49/month with 300 monthly conversations; the eligible 14-day trial includes 100 conversations total. Optional approved capacity packs are separate purchases, not automatic overflow billing.
