What it does

Attribution connects an order to the conversation that came before it. Zubby uses one published rule: if an ordered product was recommended to the shopper by the agent in the 30 minutes before checkout, the order is marked as AI-influenced.

To investigate an effect beyond attribution, consider a suitable holdout. A share of sessions is set aside, and the difference in linked-order conversion is a directional estimate. This is not a guarantee of causal lift or profit. Shopify cart-token linking is needed for the current lift report; WooCommerce-only stores do not get a lift figure.

Capabilities

What you get

AI-influenced revenue

Orders, revenue and recommended products credited to the agent under the published 30-minute rule, with the source conversation attached.

Funnels and cohorts

Follow shoppers from chat to product view, add to cart and order, and compare cohorts over time.

Optional holdout

Hold out a percentage of sessions for a directional assistant comparison with Shopify cart-token linking. It is off by default. When enabled, holdout visitors do not see the assistant; standalone promotions and recommendation surfaces are not suppressed.

Profit views

Growth adds profit analytics on AI-attributed orders; Pro adds contribution profit after recorded payment fees and shipping. Interpret either view alongside cost coverage; missing or estimated costs limit what the result establishes.

How to get started

  1. Connect your orders

Orders arrive from Shopify, WooCommerce or your API integration and are matched against recommendations automatically.

  2. Read the dashboard

Review AI-influenced revenue, funnels and the weekly review, and open any order to see the conversation behind it.

  3. Measure lift

Enable the optional holdout, check cart-token coverage and collect enough visitors in both groups before interpreting a directional estimate.

Good to know

  • AI-influenced revenue uses last-touch credit, which can include shoppers who would have bought anyway. A holdout is a separate directional comparison with coverage and statistical limits, not proof that every attributed order was incremental.
  • Refunds and cancellations follow what your store platform reports.
  • You can export the underlying rows to check every figure against your order log.

Frequently asked questions

How does Zubby count AI-influenced revenue?

An order counts when it contains a product the agent recommended to that shopper within the 30 minutes before the order. It is a simple last-touch rule, explained in full on the attribution methodology page.

Can I measure the sales the AI actually caused?

You can estimate a directional difference with the optional holdout: a share of visitors you choose does not see the chat assistant. Zubby compares linked-order conversion between exposed and holdout visitors to estimate a directional difference. It is off by default and the current linked-order report requires Shopify cart-token coverage; it is not an email no-send control.

Which reports are included?

Analytics, funnels, cohorts, a weekly review, reports, and order, shopper, conversation and recovery views. Growth adds profit analytics and Conversation Insights; Pro adds contribution profit.

Is attributed revenue part of my bill?

No. Your plan is a flat monthly price. Attributed revenue is for your reporting only.
