Settings overview

Everything that controls how Zubby AI behaves for a single store lives under Settings. Open it from the dashboard sidebar, or go directly to /app/<storeId>/settings. The header reads Settingswith the subtitle “Manage your storefront connection, AI behavior, team access, and billing.”

Settings is tenant-scoped: every change you make applies only to the storeIdin the URL. If you run multiple stores, switch stores first, then adjust settings — nothing here is shared across stores unless a doc says otherwise.

How settings are organized

The sub-pages are grouped into four sections in the settings navigation. Click a section to reveal its tabs:

  • Brand— Workspace, Brand Voice, Loyalty, Legal. How your store presents itself and what the AI is allowed to say.
  • Behavior— AI Setup, SLA, Canned Replies. How the agent thinks, responds, and when it escalates.
  • Integrations— API Keys, Team. Who and what can connect to your store programmatically or as a collaborator.
  • Data— Billing, AI Budget, Security. Your plan, AI spend, and account-protection controls.

The default tab is Workspace

Opening Settings lands you on Workspace, which shows store health, recent sync jobs, widget appearance, and your embed credentials. It is the fastest place to confirm your store is connected and syncing.

The landing page. It surfaces four headline cards (products indexed, active rules, recovery campaigns, and your plan), a Store health panel with connection state and the most recent sync jobs, a Widget appearance form (primary color, position, agent name, welcome message), and an Embed and credentials card with your widget preview URL and widget API key. Owners and admins can rotate the widget key here.

Behavior settings

  • AI Setup— pick the chat model, set the inline brand-voice tone, and toggle conversion flows such as guided selling, lead capture, bundle recommendations, and human handoff. See AI provider & model.
  • SLA— first-response and resolution time targets used to flag slow conversations. See SLA & business hours.
  • Canned Replies— slash-shortcut snippets for the inbox composer. See Canned replies.

Brand settings

  • Brand Voice— the deep voice editor: tone, persona, reading grade, forbidden words, do/don’t examples, and per-channel variants. Applied to chat, recovery emails, content studio, and catalog improver outputs. See Brand voice.
  • Loyalty— loyalty-program configuration for your store.
  • Legal— download a pre-filled Data Processing Addendum and privacy policy. See Legal & compliance documents.

Integrations & data settings

  • API Keys— mint and revoke bearer tokens for the public REST API. See API keys.
  • Team — invite teammates and assign roles. See Team & roles.
  • Billing— your plan, invoices, and subscription management. See Billing.
  • AI Budget— read-only token and cost usage for the month, broken down by capability and model. See AI budget & cost caps.
  • Security— account-protection controls for the store. See Security.

Some tabs need elevated access

Viewing and rotating widget credentials is limited to owners and admins. Other roles see a placeholder instead of the key. Team membership and roles are managed under Settings → Team.
