Answer ingredient questions and keep customers reordering.

Food and drink shoppers ask about ingredients, allergens, storage and delivery. Zubby answers from your product data, filters by diet, and helps customers reorder or manage their subscription.

Plans from $49/month. Try Growth for 14 days.

Platform actions require the applicable plan, connected adapter and permissions. Order writes also require supported identity verification and confirmation. New Shopify connections are coming soon; custom stores do not inherit native cart actions from API ingestion. Check platform action limits.

Included in every plan; replenishment journeys from Growth.

What it does

In food and beverage, the questions are specific and the stakes can be high: does it contain nuts, is it vegan, how long does it keep, will it arrive before the weekend. Zubby answers from the ingredients, allergens and policies you publish.

Repeat purchase drives the category, so Zubby also helps customers reorder, manage subscriptions and get timely replenishment reminders.

Illustrative store example. A shopper asks whether a snack is safe for a nut allergy. Its ingredients do not list nuts, but no cross-contact declaration is available. The safe response is to explain that gap and ask staff to confirm the manufacturer’s declaration, rather than recommend the snack as safe.

How to get started

  1. Complete allergen data

Make sure every product lists ingredients, allergens and diet tags.

  2. Set delivery answers

Add shipping cutoffs, storage and perishables policies to your knowledge base.

  3. Turn on reorders

Set up a replenishment journey and decide whether subscription changes are allowed in chat.

Good to know

  • Ingredient lists, may-contain declarations, cross-contact information and certification evidence are different sources. Check each; a diet tag does not establish allergy safety.
  • Subscription changes are off by default and always confirmed with the shopper.
  • You remain responsible for labelling and food regulations in your markets.
How we measure results

Frequently asked questions

Can the agent answer allergen questions?

It can quote published ingredient and allergen declarations. Diet tags and missing allergen entries do not prove allergy safety or absence of cross-contact. Incomplete or conflicting declarations must go to staff for review; do not use an AI answer as an allergy-safety guarantee.

Can shoppers filter by diet?

Yes, using the tags in your catalog, such as vegan, gluten-free, halal or kosher, so keep those tags complete and accurate.

Can it help with subscriptions?

For ReCharge stores, signed-in shoppers can see their subscriptions and next charge date. Skip, reschedule, pause and cancel work only if you enable them, with a confirmation each time.

Can it remind customers to reorder?

Yes. Replenishment journeys (Growth) remind customers when they are likely to run out, and the agent can rebuild a past order as a ready-to-checkout cart.
