Store integrations
Pick the connection path that owns your product and order data. Each guide includes the authentication boundary, sync flow, storefront install, and checks required before you treat the integration as live.
A connection is not proof of a working store
Complete the guide’s catalog, platform-event or API-ingest, widget, and controlled test-order checks. A successful OAuth callback or plugin activation only proves the first step.
Choose a platform
- Shopify: Existing Shopify connections: verify catalog sync, registered webhooks and the theme embed. New Shopify connections are coming soon; use WooCommerce now or Custom API on Pro or above.
- WooCommerce: Install and pair the WordPress plugin, verify the first sync, and confirm the storefront widget bridge.
- Custom or headless: Use scoped REST credentials to push catalog and order data, then mount a supported widget embed.
After connecting
- Confirm products and variants appear with current prices and inventory.
- On Shopify and WooCommerce, change a controlled product and verify the connector event reaches the workspace. The managed setup registers required webhooks; do not create duplicate subscriptions by hand. On a custom store, upsert that product with your scoped write key and inspect the response errors before checking the catalog.
- Wait for indexing, then search for that product using a distinctive attribute. A product row appearing does not prove its search embedding has finished.
- Open the storefront widget and ask a catalog-grounded question.
- Use the platform’s test procedure for a controlled order, or send a synthetic order through custom ingest with its original orderedAt timestamp. Verify order status and matching line IDs. Attribution only appears if the order meets its documented rule; an ordinary order should not be forced into AI credit.
If one of those checks fails, use the troubleshooting guide before enabling the assistant for shoppers.
